A young family approached us to add a series of outdoor additions to their historic farmhouse in South Austin, to enable camp-style living in their backyard.  The final project consisted of a guest cabin, pool, outdoor shower, wood-fired grill and storage shed for hobby equipment.  A 100’ board-formed concrete wall is the ‘backbone’ of the project, tying all the elements together both organizationally and aesthetically.  The project also involved resurrecting an original 18000 gallon concrete cistern under the house to irrigate the landscape.
